ICT-based learning services launched in SV University

Sri Venkateswara University (SVU), known for its profound history in academic excellence since past 60 years, has launched ICT based learning services for its distance education programs.

Collaborating with Schoolguru Eduserve Private Limted, a specialized academic support service organization with proven skillset to run and manage ICT enabled learning for Indian Universities, the SVU has launched this ambitious project of introducing 15 distance education programs in the first phase and confidently invites students to achieve their academic goals and interests, University Vice-Chancellor Prof. A Damodaram said here last evening.

In order to build a strong foundation and productive student support, the University has partnered with schoolguru eduserve pvt limited, a specialized academic support services organization with proven skill set to run and manager ICT enabled learning for Indian Universities.

Schoolguru's expertise in architecting and managing technology in Education and the vast experience of its veteran Academic Board and Council has helped the university optimally utilize modern technology platform to its competitive advantage.

Prof Damodaram also said that we are also planning to offer 'mobile based learning services' to students of regular programs. Along with ICT based learning, the university also intends to start SVU's own MOOCs (Massive Open and Online Courses ) platform and take SVU into the leadership position in Technology enabled learning not only within the state but also in entire country, he said. The course material under this initiative includes a series of video lectures, audio books, textual study material and animated content, created by veteran professors and industry experts, the Vice-Chancellor said.
