BMU launches more management, specialized BTech courses

BML Munjal University (BMU), founded by the promoters of the Hero Group, has announced the launch of two new management programmes and several new age specialisations in BTech.

The University will offer BBA in Family Business and Entrepreneurship and MBA in Finance and Investment Banking. Besides Students in BTech now have the option of specialising in new-age programs such as Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Automobile Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Embedded Systems, IoTand Advanced Telecommunications.

Based in Manesar in Haryana, BMU offers BTech, BBA, BCom (Honours) and MBA programs. With a unique curriculum and pedagogy, BMU is working on transforming the higher education space in India by creating a world-class university that is based on the principals of innovative teaching, learning and research environment.

Dr BS Satyanarayana, Vice Chancellor, BML Munjal University told reporters here on Wednesday, "BMU has always aimed to transform its students into well-rounded, industry-ready individuals, who are equipped to take on leadership responsibilities from day one of graduating from the university. The new specialization courses are introduced to provide students a wide array of options - from employability to R&D and entrepreneurship, as the whole dynamics in the industry are changing. The specializations are a big value-add to their resumes during the time of placement."

He said with these new programs, BMU students will graduate with enhanced experience to handle the challenges faced by the companies in the global context.

"At BMU, the academic structure, advanced course curriculum and pedagogy are designed to make the students future ready, with the goal that they are ready for the industry from day one after graduation. The Experiential Learning curriculum ensures students get relevant practical experience in their program and specializations. In 2018, BMU witnessed 100 per cent placement of its MBA students," he added.
