The Christ the King Polytechnic College, Coimbatore, started in the year 1985, is promoted and run by the Christian Minority Trust, St.Joseph’s Christian Educational Social and Charitable Trust. The R.C. Bishop of Coimbatore is the Chairman of the trust. The campus is situated at a distance of 16km to the south of the Coimbatore city in calm and congenial surroundings with the Coimbatore - Pollachi road running east of it. The Campus has an extensive area of 18 acres.
Hostel Facility
Hostel for boys only is available. Hostellers are provided with cots, tables and hot water supply for 24 hours, with the help of solar heaters and geysers. Specified study and prayer/ silence hours. Three teaching staff member resides within hostel to maintain discipline and also help students in their academic work. One senior member works as warden to look after the hostellers. Stream cooked wholesome delicious vegetarian food is provided hygienically. For girls students, hostel accommodation if needed is arranged in ‘CRISTEL’-a working Women’s hostel in Race Course Coimbatore, run by our sister organization.
Scholarship Facility
Students belonging to SC, ST, BC, MBC are eligible to get all the Scholarships awarded by the Central and State Governments subject to their satisfying the conditions stipulated by the respective Govts
The placement cell of our Institute is functioning well under a placement officer assisted by co-ordinators from each department.
