Shri Angalamman College of Engineering and Technology was founded by A.D.S. Education Trust, Triuchirappalli, with the approval of the Government of Tamilnadu Vide G.O.Ms.No.388 (Education) dated 01.04.1991 and approved by All India Council for Technical Educational (AICTE), New Delhi.
Trust which is dedicated to the cause of promoting technical education to the student community of Tamil Nadu, has purchased a vast area of 155.22acres Land in the Trichy-Chennai National Highways.
The campus is developing rapidly, under the able administration of the Chairman Er. M.Subramaniam with the help of able faculty of the institution. This College has an excellent Faculty. Technical Assistants, with well equipped laboratories. Library etc., The College is functioning from the academic year 1991 – 1992.
Library :The Library has 22,646 volumes including 11,623 titles. The library also has 35 International Journals & 60 National Journals and 50 General Magazines. Apart from this we also have 503 CDs. It is used by staff & students, open access system is provided in the library. We also subscribed online Journals .
transportations : The College has its own fleet of transport to pick-up students from in and around Trichy. and covers almost every important locations situated within a radial distance of 55 KM. The College is presently using 11 buses
Canteen: The College has a spacious and airy Canteen. It provides a variety of wholesome, tasty snacks and food at a reasonable price. The Canteen also provides packaged snacks items, bakery products, soft drinks to the taste and requirements of not only the students but also the staff members.
Hostel Facility
Separate Hostel facilities are available for Boys and Girls. The Hostel provides accommodation for all the needy students. The rooms are furnished with Table, Chair, Cot and Fan.
The College has built separate Hostel for Boys and Girls. The Boys Hostel has 46 rooms to accommodate 250 students. The rooms are furnished for single bed, double bed, three bed or dormitory type occupancy from economy to delux suite to make it affordable to every section of the society.
