Sureya college of engineering was founded in 2012 . the college is administrated by the annai santhiya educational health and charitable trust .the college campus sprawling land area of 14 acres
The college was inaugurated on aug 30 2012 by hon.Thiru .Subramaniyam,the chairman of mookambigai college of engineering ,who preside over the function sureya college of engineering building ground and first. Floor has been built in an area of 32,000 sq.m. it contains all class rooms ,library,office,chemistry ,physics,ece & eee dept laboratories.workshop built in area of 776 sq.m.we have proposed to construct. Additional building an opposite of main block in an area of 16,000 sq.m. we have proposed to construct. Additional workshop built in an area of 776 sq.m work in under progress.
Library: The library is a vast storehouse of knowledge with over 33,115 volumes and more than 108 regularly subscribed journals including foreign online journal, Delnet. It maintains separate collections of Reference Books, Standards, and Bound volumes of Journals, Technical Reports, and Theses. It also has a collection of over 1677 resource Compact Discs, and Video Cassettes under various titles.
Canteen: A canteen inside the campus serves hygenic nutritive and delicious meats and tiffin at a reasonable cost.
Transport: The fleet comprising of 18 buses are being operated in various routes for staff and students to commute to college with convenience.
Internet: A total of 544 computers with latest configuration are available for student's use. Free internet facility has been provided with the band width of 10 Mbps to students and staff to keep abreast of the development in their interseted area of subject.
Hostel Facility
There are separate hostels for boys and girls which are well furnished, well ventilated, with all modern amenities. Nominal fees are collected in the hostel as rent and the mess fee is based on dividing system
