National Institute of Technology Mizoram is one of the 30 National Institutes of Technology situated in Lengpui,[1] Aizawl,Mizoram. NIT Mizoram was one of the ten new NITS established by the Ministry Of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India vide its order no. F. 23-13-2009-TS-III Dated 30 October 2009 and 3 March 2010.

Eligibility
10+2 with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory Subjects along with one of the following subjects – Chemistry/ Bio Technology/ Computer Science/ Biology with 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates).

Admission Procedure
The admission is based on the score in the JEE (Main) Exam conducted by JEE Apex Board of the C.B.S.E. and marks scored (normalized) in the Class 12th or 10+2 in the ratio of 60:40. The Counselling for admission is conducted by the Central Counselling Board (CCB) constituted by the Government of India
