Bahra University is established as State Private University by Act No. 2 of 2011 of State Legislature of Himachal Pradesh. The Department of ECE is one of the established departments in the institution. The Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) Department was established in the year 2010.
Library : The Bahra University Library is the key knowledge resource centre with large stock of books, periodicals, digital resources, journals and reference material. The library is connected with other resource centers through various networks like DELNET.
Computer Center: The Bahra University is interconnected through a largely secure IT back bone enabling hundred of computers to network through wired and wireless infrastructure.
