Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology

Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology was started with an objective of identifying talented students and giving them the opportunity to shine in society by taking them forward and helping them to carve a niche of their own in the industry. Spread over 28 acres in a picturesque ambience on 3,12,000 sq.ft. of built-up area on the Chennai-Tirupati National Highway 205 at Thiruvallur (near Collector's Office), the college is easily accessible by road and rail.

Library: The College has a well-stocked library with a collection of more than 7219 titles, 28,000 volumes of books along with 72 National,81 International and 128 Online Journals in various disciplines.
Sports: The College has good and modern playground with sophisticated playing equipments for the benefit of the students. The college conducts sports meet regularly and award prizes for the winners. The college has exclusive sports personnel for the benefit of the students to train them in various sports activities.
Canteen: A hygienic canteen is functioning in the college campus, to provide quality food, snacks, tea, coffee, cool-drinks, etc., Periodic checks will be made to see that the quality of items are maintained.
 
 Hostel Facility
Separate hostels have been provided for boys and girls by the College. Both hostels are fully furnished and all the facilities have been provided for the comfort of the students.
 
 Scholarship Facility
Our college has initiated a thriving tradition to offer attractive student scholarships every year to the meritorious and deserving students to encourage merit and to make education accessible to the students of all economic strata. Merit Scholarship
Scholarships are awarded to meritorious students, based on the academic performance at the qualifying examinations for the students who get 90% and above. For them only counselling fees is collected.
A special cash prize is awarded to all the toppers in every discipline by S. Rangama Naidu & Bangarammal Trust every year, Graduates during the Graduation Day sponsored by the trustee Mr.R.Damodaran Government Scholarships are arranged for all eligible students.
