KET Polytechnic College was started with a vision to fulfill the present growing needs of knowledged, disciplined and dedicated personnel in Engineering and Technical arena. With a coined slogans “KNOWLEDGE IS POWER” & “TO REACH THE UNREACHED” we decided to call the youth to “WALK WITH US INTO THEIR FUTURE”. The institution has obtained permission from AICTE, New Delhi and DOTE, Tamil Nadu for offering Diploma Course in the field of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Electronics, Electronics Communication and Computer Science presently.
K E T Polytechnic college is situated in a very peaceful place surrounded by beautiful trees. Being away from the city chaos makes it the best environment for learning. K E T Polytechnic college is constructed in a 5 acres of Land with a Build up area of 1, 00,000 Sq Ft. Spacious class rooms and generous laboratories for the best practical experience. Two Blocks are left specially for Laboratories. Lab Block - 1 and Lab Block - 2. The Main Block consists of the class rooms, library, administration, conference halls etc., A generous amount of space is used to make the campus lush green and environmentally friendly campus with all the facilities. There is a special world class play ground, canteen, Space for Parking, well maintained gardens.
Hostel Facility
Separate Hostel facilities for Boys and Girls are available within the campus and a land of 1 acre. Both boys and girls hostel has all the facilities with 24 hrs water, and generator for 24X7 electricity facilities. Two securities for the safety of the students work round the clock in two day and night shifts. Individual cupboards are given for the students with locker facilities for keeping their belongings in a safe custody. Hostel Mess is a state-of-art kitchen with well trained cooks they work round the clock to serve the hostel students with delicious foods.
K E T Polytechnic college has got a dedicated Placement Cell working under a Placement Officer. The main Objectives of the placement cells are : To organize campus interviews for final year students with industries and business houses of repute from all over India.; To prepare students to face campus interviews by arranging training in Aptitude tests, group discussions, preparing for Technical and HR interviews through professional trainers and K E T Polytechnic alumni.; To arrange Industrial visit and In-Plant training. ; To arrange final semester project for the students.; To promote career counseling by organizing guidance lectures by senior corporate personnel and most importantly by the immediately placed senior students.
