The Sri Ramachandra Polytechnic College was established in 2008 as a charitable institution with a prime ambition of affording opportunities to young men and women for equipping themselves to get employed and contribute to the technological development of the nation. The college is growing day by day and emerging as one of the ranking polytechnic institutions in Tamilnadu.
Sri Ramachandra Polytechnic College is located in a congenial atmosphere, about 35 km from Kanchipuram city, spreading over 10 acres of sprawling campus on the Ochari – Arakonam road at Dharmaneethi. The college has an excellent infrastructure facilities like spacious buildings, fully equipped laboratories for each discipline, workshops, computer center with internet connectivity, and well-qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty.
Computer Lab - The Computer center worth Rs.5,00,000 is established for the college that includes 200 systems, 4 inkjet printers 5 Laser Jet printers and 3 dot matrix printers. All the computers are in network with 2 Mbps Leased Line Internet facility. The students are permitted to work in the computer lab between 10 am to 5 pm in addition to their normal laboratory hours.

The large number of books, journals and magazines available here provide ample reading material on all subjects with a sophisticated reading room for all intellectual activities.
Laboratories: Well-planned and Fully Equipped Laboratories Fulfilling the norms of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) have been set up with great care to impart excellent practical knowledge to the Students
Hostel Facility
Hostel facilities are available for both Boys and Girls in separate spacious buildings. A mess is attached to the Hostels. Boarding charges are normally on the dividing system. Students can enjoy a well-disciplined atmosphere here.
