Narayani Institute of Engineering & Technology(NIET) was setup as a part of the self powered plans of Narayni Education Trust,Angul, in 2009 with the objectives to erect a truly world class institute in the rural part where students from the vicinity would be benefited from the services that matched the local as well as global industrial demands for technocrats. The institution is spread over a sprawling campus with calm surroundings, creating magnificent atmosphere for technical education, situated at Arahat, just 9 kms from Tata motors, Banarpal Chhack, Angul. It is spread over 6 acres of lush green land providing an ambience congenial to the pursuit of high quality technical education. Every single detail of the institute has been implemented at par with global standards in accordance to the norms of AICTE, New Delhi.
Library: We believe that a good library is one of the greatest asset of a college. The library has a large collection of technical books. In addition, we also have a large collection in English Literature which is essential to help the students to develop their communication skills. An extensive digital library stocks hundreds of titles comprising of training CDs, Indian and Foreign films, software related materials, etc. Students are encouraged to suggest names of the books to be acquired by the library.
Computer Labs: NIET has a well equipped computer lab connected with a wireless LAN. The wireless LAN makes it possible for any faculty member or student to easily connect to the campus network.Internet facility is provided through a wireless link and is available for all students for conducting online research. Internet access is also available in the hostels.A Computer Maintenance Cell takes care of all the hardware and software problems of the computer hardware located in campus and in the hostels.Every student is provided their own email-ID under the college domain name for their personal and academic use.Students who wish to purchase their own desktops or laptops will be assisted by the college in finding the lowest cost vendors and in getting good maintenance contracts. The students can also avail the services of the Computer Maintenance Cell for their H/W and S/W problems.

Hostel Facilities Available: Separate Hostel facilities for boys and girls with comfortable and homely accommodation is available.
Apart from all well furnished rooms with attached toilet and other amenities color TV, Computer & Internet facilities, Newspaper & Magazines. Both non-vegetarian & vegetarian food is available on the basis of requirement of the students. Good hygienic condition is strictly maintained both in the food and living conditions. Hostel superintendents supervise the functioning of the Hostels regularly.
