Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust’s Pimpri Chinchwad Polytechnic (PCP) was established in the year 1990. It consists of spacious buildings for various Engineering Departments, sports ground, canteen, and mess which are spread over large area of land under Pimpri Chinchwad New Town Development Authority popularly known as Pradhikaran. The plot has been developed into a beautiful landscape in the vicinity of Akurdi railway station. Akurdi Station is about 20 kilometers away from the Pune Railway Station on the Pune-Mumbai Railway line. The Institute is at a walkable distance from Akurdi railway station.
Pimpri Chinchwad Polytechnic (PCP) is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (A.I.C.T.E.) and Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra Diploma is awarded to the students by Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai (M.S.B.T.E.)
The Placement cell works towards the objective of placing the student on the right career path and with sole purpose of facilitating the students in the “Job Hunt” process. The main motto of any professional college is to educate the students and make them industry worthy. But now-a-days the colleges have taken it further, as to provide placements to the students.
