Sahrdaya Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) is a significant milestone in the committed journey of Irinjalakuda Diocesan Education Trust (IDET), chaired by Bishop of Irinjalakuda, Mar Pauly Kannookadan. SIMS is affiliated to the University of Calicut, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognized by the Government of Kerala. Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology, Sahrdaya College of Advanced Studies, and Sahrdaya-tech, the three major educational and career building ventures of IDET, have already achieved a respectable and enviable place in the national and regional education scenario. SIMS is a rising star in the horizon of quality education erected on the rich tradition of the Catholic educational system nestled in Central Kerala.
Computer Centre: The Computer Centre which has an elaborate network of 60 workstations coupled with a 16 Mbps VSNL internet connection. The Computer Centre is equipped with Lenovo Systems with Intel Processor and Servers.
Library : The Library possesses large number of books with different titles, Multimedia CDs, national and international journals, periodicals and local and national newspapers. This also has online databases such as Emerald, J-Gate, INFLIBNET and DELNET. The library system supports the teaching and research programmes of the institute by providing physical and intellectual access to information consistent with the current and the proposed educational and research projects of the institute.
Communication Lab: Communication plays a pivotal role in today's business environment. The Communication Lab will be used for conducting communication training
Transportations : Students and staff can avail bus facility to nearby destinations.
Caféteria: The Café will serve you the best of delicacies to satiate your taste buds.
Fitness Centre: Sports and Games will be an integral part of Sahrdaya's total Educational Programme. A multi Gymnasium with 16 stations for men and 12 stations for Women is available for the students.
ATM counter:An ATM counter set up by the South Indian Bank is available in the campus.
INDUCTION TRAINING: The students will be given intensive induction training for a period of one week in and off campus. The programme will comprise of personality development sessions, guest talks, industrial visits and other interactive sessions.
OUTBOUND TRAINING :This programme is meant to combine training in team building, leadership, communication and adaptability with physical fitness in an external environment.
Hostel Facility
Modern and well designed accommodation facilities are provided for boys & girls separately. The hostels are adequately equipped with internet facilities, Common Rooms for Student interactions, mess, recreation and other facilities. There are facilities for outdoor and indoor games including a fully equipped gymnasium for girls and boys. Counselling services, health checkups etc. are provided as per requirement. The hostels are managed by Catholic priests and nuns.
Sahrdaya provides a platform for placement to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between the students and the industry through the Placement Cell.
