Sri Ramakrishna Educational Society was founded in 1984.under the able chairmanship of a visionary and educationist Dr.G. Ramakrishna reddy. The Society started Sri Ramakrishna Degree College in the same year at Nandyal, a commercial headquarters of Kurnool district. The college is known for its for its academic excellence. The degree college has become autonomous college from the academic year2005-06. It offers U.G. courseswith different combinations. Library: It houses more than 22364 volumes an extensive collection of books and journal son computers, business, accounting, finance, management, marketing, economics and general studies The atmosphere of the Library with cozy accommodation is suitable and salubrious.
Audio-Visual section: Audio-Visual section to complement the regular teaching methods by acquiring more than 560
management and computer-based educational cassettes, Compact Disks are also equipped with Computer Based Tutorial (CBT) system. This cell is newly equipped with 12 LCD Projectors.
Transportation: As the College is away from the hubbub of the town and the hostels on the campus can accommodate only 1/4 of the total strength ,the necessity of the providing transport is keenly felt by the management who provided a fleet of 6 buses besides a van further conveyance of staff and students, a special buses being run for women.
Function Hall: A 350 seater multipurpose building equipped with modern facilities and ultra modern gadgets forms the venue for unearthing the talents of students of SRKPG. Internet facility: Internet facility is provided on LAN through 2 Mb Pleased Line connection from BSNL. The entire college campus is equipped with Wi-Fi enabled environment, which allows students and faculty to browse the Internet in wireless mode.
Computer Center: Computer Labs are another comprehensive facility,supporting state_of_art computing systems available to the students all the time. The Labs are equipped with 200 Pentium_IV rating personal workstations which employ the windows NT , 2000 and Ret Hat Linux open systems,etc.
