Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, named after the great son of India, Shaheed-e- Azam, Sardar Bhagat Singh, was established as a co-educational college in 1967 as a constituent college of University of Delhi. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is one of the leading colleges of University of Delhi imparting higher education in commerce, humanities and social sciences. We have highly qualified, dedicated and committed faculty who are well known in their respective fields of specialization.
The college campus is surrounded by lush green lawns. In winter, it is a riot of colours and a real treat for the eyes. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College has a fully computerized bar- coded library. Library has got bar coded computerized lending facilities. Two computers are exclusively devoted for OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) for searching books. Our college has state of the art Computer Labs. The students have free access to internet in the computer labs and in the library, where a separate section has been developed to use internet for research and referring to university subscribed journals, etc.
