The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) is a premier professional body of Management. Accountants in the Country established on 28th May, 1959 under the Cost Accountants Act, 1959, as amended by the Cost Accountants (Amendment) Act, 2006 and CWA (Amendment) Act, 2011 enacted by the Parliament to regulate the profession of Cost and Management Accountancy in India.
The Institute as a part of its obligation to regulate the profession of Cost and Management Accountancy, enrolls students for Cost Accountancy course, provide coaching facilities to the students, organize professional development programs for the members and undertake research program in the field of Cost and Management Accountancy.
Over the years the Cost and Management Accountancy profession has registered a tremendous growth and has occupied a prominent role in our economy and society.
