Bharathi Womens College

During the centenary celebration of the famous Tamil poet Subramanian Bharathi in 1981-82 this college was renamed as Bharathi Women’s College. Today the college has more than 4000 students and over 150 faculty members serving in 13 different departments. The college is located in the fairly large campus of 8 Acres, nested in the crowded Gorgeous George Town the actual Chennai.

 
 Hostel Facility
The hostel inside the campus provides accommodation for resident students. Since the hostel has limited capacity, students residing far away from the college or outstation students are given preference in hostel admission
