Madgula Kista Reddy Memorial Degree College is established in 1994 by the famous industrialist and the gandhian Shri.Madgula Narsa Reddy garu in memorial of his father late Madgula Kista Reddy garu. To provide higher education facilities to his native and surrounding villages of Bhoodhan pochampally mandal Shri Madgula Narsa Reddy has started first educational institute MKR Memorial Junior college in 1992. After that the MKR Memorial Degree College also established in the year 1994 under the Osmania University. Now it is come under Mahatma Gandhi University.
