Shri Ramsahai Shrivastava was born in the house of Shri Jalpa Prasad Shrivastava in village-Akodia of district-Rae Bareli, Pargana-Salwan, who was the superintendent in the Collectorate of Sultanpur. He was married in Village-Pakhrauli, Tehsil and District-Sultanpur with Mrs. Khatrani Devi, daughter of Shri Chaudhary Gopal Rai and they settled in Pakhrauli. Shri Ramsahaya had four sons and three daughters- Sarvshree Ganpat Sahai, Mahavir Prasad, Manmohan Lal and Harikrishna Verma and Rooprani, Chhabirani and Nandrani.Mrs Ruprani got married with Mr Raisaheb Babu Hariprasad Verma Chhetepatti, Mrs Chhabirani Mr Mahesh Prasad Principal GIC and Mrs Nandrani Babu Jagatnarayan Verma, Advocate, Sultanpur. Shri Rajkrishna Verma and Shri Avinashchandra Verma were also in this series. In this sequence, in the tradition of Nanihal Pakhrauli, Shri Jaikaran Nath Verma (Engineer) is a respected member of the Management Committee.Ganpat Sahai's high school took place in Sultanpur and after that in Allahabad. He obtained BA degree from Allahabad University in 1904 with special merit in English subject and was awarded "Jalan" gold medal.
Library: The college has more than 1,000,000 subject-books, besides magazines such as Vigyan Pragati, Mathematics Today, Physics Today, Chemistry Today and daily newspapers are also available in the library. Through the library, every student can get 3-book by showing his card after admission.
Laboratory: The science faculty of the college has fully equipped laboratories for physics, chemistry, military science, zoology and botany.
Computer: In the computer department of the college, computer education is given to all the students by qualified teachers. High-speed internet facility is also available in the college, apart from this the computer room is fully air-conditioned.
Sports Council: On behalf of the college sports council, facilities are provided for athletes, hockey, football, volleyball, cricket, badminton, kabaddi etc. Every student of the college is expected to participate in some sport or the other. Those students who have achieved excellence by participating in the sports of the former institution, have earned membership of the first XI of any sport or sport, should contact the sports superintendent with all their records in case of difficulty in admission to the college. . Proper arrangements for sports are also made every year by the college.
Cultural programme: Apart from 15th August and 26th January, many other cultural programs are held in the college. In addition to the above two festivals, the birth anniversary of the founder of the college, Late Babu Ganpat Sahai, 10 October and the council festival are organized separately with the permission of the principal.
Magazine: The college magazine 'Sarjana' is published in every session. Students should give their original works for publication to the magazine in-charge Dr. Vijay Srivastava in the month of September.
