Dattajirao Kadam Arts, Science, Commerce College, Ichalkaranji was established in 1962 by Shri Swami Vivekanand Shikshan Sanstha Kolhapur, founded by Shikshanmaharshi Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe with a motto “Dissemination of Education for Knowledge Science & Culture”. The college celebrated its Golden Jubilee year in 2012-13. The College is located in industrial city of Ichalkaranji well known as Manchester of Maharashtra. Presently the Strength of Senior College is 2873 having approximately equal percentage of male & female students. The total number of teaching & Non teaching staff is 90 (41 parmanent, 49 temporary) & 42 respectively & student teacher ratio is 31:1
Auditorium : The college has an auditorium with Audio - Visual aids, sound system etc. This auditorium is mainly used to conduct cultural activities as well as Seminars, Workshops, Conferences, etc.
Library : Library is “Heart of College” Teaching and learning system library support through reading materials our library is well equipped with reference book, text books, Journals, Periodicals and news papers etc. Our library provides such as library services, reading materials, circulation, study room, Internet and “INFLIBNET” (N-List), E-Resources to the readers.
Canteen : There is a college canteen having separate sections for the boys, girls and faculties.
