Kalicharan Degree College

Kalicharan Degree College, Lucknow is one of the esteemed institutions of learning and is situated on the bank of holy river Gomti in Chowk area of West-Lucknow. This institution is being run by Kalicharan Vidyalaya Endowment Trust, Lucknow which was constituted in 1912. Since beginning District Magistrate, Lucknow is ex-offcio President of this institution. Founder Manager of Kalicharan Vidyalaya Endowment Trust was Honorable Babu Ganga Prasad Verma. He was a renowned journalist, a social worker and also founder member of Indian National Congress in 1885.

library : The college library has a stock of about 13000 books of different subjects. Several Newspaper and Magazines in English and Hindi are also available in the college library. Presently college library is run by experienced and able Librarian Smt. Kusum Shukla. A spacious reading room is attached with the library.
