Shri Trikamjibhai Chatwani Arts & J.V.Gokal trust Commerce College was established in the year 1992. Over a period of nearly two decades, It has grown in terms of introducing new courses, undertaking research programmes, publishing books, organizing seminars and conferences and celebrating various festivals. As of now there are about 3000 students in the college, pursuing programmes such as B.A., B.Com., M.A. , M.Com. The college has been accredited with B Grade in 2014 by NAAC.It should be noted here explicitly that during the formative years of its growth and development the college strived its best to stick to its principle, aims and objectives for which it was established. The sole objective of the Trust is "to develop the circumference of education as well as with the main purpose Higher Education at Home also. The Trust constantly remains active with an important purpose and aim to provide Pre-Primary to Post Graduation Level Education in the same campus. Apart from that with the changing of time, the Trust also aims to make necessary developments in the Technical areas so that the students may get sufficient opportunities in the professional areas."
Library: We have a rich library enriched with sufficient number of qualitative books. The College subscribes to almost all the important journals and magazines for the enhancement and widening the horizons of knowledge for students, teachers and research scholars. During the last three years 3000 new books and many new journals have been added in the library. The College Library uses then list Inflibnet services for further access and uses Auto Library Management System Software. Many CDs on study topics are available. Apart from the regular textbooks and reference books, the libraries also own many books and journals for competitive exams and career development for students. A Xerox Machine with printing facility is also available in the library. The college encourages the students and the staff to offer literary contribution in the college souvenirs published every five years.
Play Ground: The College has adequately large play ground for practicing games and sports. The Ground is commonly shared by sister institutions of the campus.
Conference Hall: The conference Hall of the building is often rented to conduct seminars, workshops as well as for conducting cultural programmes to various institutions on token charges. This generates some small revenue for the college.
