Guru Nanak Girls College which was established in 1973 under the aegis of Sant Pandit Nischal Singh Ji Maharaj. Sant Ji was a great philosopher, a spiritual soul and above all was the propagator of educating in general and to the girl child in particular. The foundation stone of the college was laid down by Sant Ji Maharaj for the fulfillment of his mission of educating the girl child. Since its inception our college leadership has kept a sole objective in mind i.e. to reach far flung areas where the downtrodden and the deprived strata of women belong. The prime focus is to include the under privileged and weaker sections of society into education system and bring them in the main stream by educating them about their rights, their capabilities and their talents. In nutshell, achieving women empowerment is the pivot of all the activities under taken by the college and thus reflects our vision and leadership.
