GITAM School of International Business was formerly known as GITAM Institute of Foreign Trade (GIFT). GIFT was established in the year 1997. Subsequently, when GITAM has been declared as a deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, GIFT was brought within the ambit of GITAM University and declared as an autonomous School of Excellence in International Business in recognition of its academic leadership in International Business in the country.
The facilities in the campus include Central Library, Centrally Air-conditioned Auditorium, Open Air Theatre, Cafeterias, Nationalized Bank, Post-Office, Medical Centre, Temple, Co-operative Store, etc. The Campus is equipped with a e-learning Centre and also provides dedicated internet connectivity through a leased 1 Gbps line.

GSIB has a santisadan residence is well-designed to provide modern accommodation facilities equipped with wi-fi, common rooms for student interaction and a host of other facilities.
