The Trustees of Pragyan Foundation (Sponsoring Body) have been actively engaged in the field of education since 1991 (over 25 years) and have brought their rich experience and expertise in the establishment of Pragyan International University, designing its programmes, hiring the best faculties, offering the finest infrastructure and offering industry-oriented job ready and practical education. Being well-lit and airy the classrooms of the university are suitable for studies. They are equipped with remote controlled LCD multimedia projectors, Public Address System, collar and cordless microphones, computers. For different courses there are different laboratories. To fulfill the requirements of the students the laboratories have been equipped with modern accessories.
Hostel Facility
Pragyan International University provide the students with an amiable atmosphere in the hostels. This friendly ambience promotes the process of learning and growing. Our object is to help the students to maintain harmony and peace and to balance time between studies and extracurricular activities. There are separate hostel facilities for both girls and boys. We offer facilities both in the form of dormitories and separate rooms. We have specially designed a separated study area for the hostel inmates. During morning hours and evening time it can be utilized by all hostel inmates. The hostel rooms and dormitories have 24-hours power back up and security. There is also a tuck shop in the hostel premises. This is a one-stop shop and is meant to provide day to day articles to the students. Apart from other stationary items, packed food items are also available here. The students can avail themselves of reprographic facility available in the tuck shop to take photocopies and print outs.
Scholarship Facility
Every student, irrespective of his financial condition, has right to education. Pragyan International University continuously put effort to create more and more opportunities for the passionate and meritorious students so that they don''t get deprived of education only because of financial disparities. Providing scholarships is a helpful medium for the students coming from underprivileged background to accomplish their dreams. Our endeavor is to make higher education easily accessible to all the students especially SC, ST, OBC and other underprivileged students. The aim is to create a learned resource pool for the development of the state as well as of the country. We feel responsible towards the betterment of the state and are devoted to bring reforms in higher education for the students who belong to SC, ST and other backward classes. Various FREE career Counselling sessions are also conducted for school students throughout the state as a part of our social responsibility. These sessions help us to reach out to the students living in the remote areas of Jharkhand and we get the opportunity to counsel them about career and employability.
