Eligibility
Minimum Three/Four years and maximum five/six years for full time and part-time research respectively
 
Duration
A candidate who has obtained a Master Degree from any University in the State or from any other University recognized as equivalent thereto securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate as a whole shall be eligible to register for the Ph.D. Degree Programme. However, in the case of SC/ST and the category-I candidates, the minimum marks required shall be 50%
 
Admission Procedure
Selection of candidates shall be on merit-cum-reservation on the basis of 50:50 weightage for marks in the entrance and qualifying examinations
