The College, started in 2005, is located in a rural area. The students have chosen social service as the major extension activity. They regularly conduct cleaning work in the local public institutions. Annual sports meet is also conducted. The college intends to have new buildings and an IT lab in the coming years. The institution is managed by the Manjappara Educational and Charitable Trust.
