Mother Teresa College of Teacher Education, a CMI Institution is owned and managed by Rural Educational and Social Trust Perambra. Rural Educational and Social Trust is a voluntary organization registered as 500/94 before the District Registrar [general], Kozhikode under the Societies Registration Act of 1860.
The main objectives of the organization is to provide best quality education to the poor residing in rural areas, and there by develop them to accept and adopt to the latest technologies for earning a better living.
The organization intends to provide its service to the general public as a charitable one benefiting the rural poor, without any distinction with regards to religion, race, cast, community, sex, colour or nativity and work for the upliftment of the people by giving them a holistic training approach i.e., spiritual, mental and physical development in their life style.
Library:The students have access to the college library which has sufficient number of books and periodicals on the subjects and other related fields as specified by the NCTE. It has got a good collection of general books and books on education. The students can take advantage of the full time internet access during working hours for enriching their knowledge.
Laboratory: The college is well equipped with laboratory for Psychology, Educational Technology, Language Learning, Science and Computers.
Physical Education:Facilities have been provided for sports and games such as foot ball, volley ball, cricket, chess, shuttle badminton and athletics.
