Thanthai Hans Roever College of Education, Perambalur was started in 2006 with 100 students and nine disciplines. It is purely a self-financing institution affiliated to the Tamilnadu Teachers Education University and approved by National Council for Teacher Education Bangalore.
It has well-equipped library and laboratories. The College also encourages cultural programmes and sports & Games activities. Library: The modern computerized Library has more than Thirty thousand volume of books covering various areas of computer sciences, Life Science and Arts. It has subscriptions of hundred journals. The Audio-Visual Centre & CD-ROM Workstation has an impressive collection of thousands of video cassettes & CD-ROMs. The Computerized catalogue could be accessed in the library.
