Nirmala College of Pharmacy is established and administered by the Society of Catechist Sisters of St. Ann, Hyderabad. It is a self financed Institution, affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India and is approved by AICTE and Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. The college have been started D. Pharmacy course in 2004 and B. Pharmacy course in 2006. The M. Pharmacy courses with two specializations of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Analysis were initiated in 2010 and M. Pharmacy Pharmacology was started in 2011. The college also started Pharma - D course in 2013 with various infrastructural facilities to provide the best quality of Pharmacy education.
Library is completely computerized and stocked with 1210 titles and 7500 volumes. 22 well established laboratories, class rooms are well furnished with e- teaching facilities. A huge auditorium with 600 capacity, play ground for cricket, volley ball, through ball, tennicoit etc.Animal house facility will provides animal care, breeding and maintenance of experimental animals e.g. Rats, Mice, rabbits, guinea pigs for ongoing research projects of the institute. Instrumentation Facility is equipped with high value sophisticated instruments, has been created in order to cater to the needs of various departments in Pharmacy and for maximum utilisation of instruments.
