The College is an aided Institution which is affiliated to the Sambalpur University. It is a 12(B), 2(F) status of the UGC having accreditated C+ in the 1st cycle (2007-2012) of Accreditation.
The College provides only under Graduate Degree in Arts having Pass subject English, MIL(O) & Environment Studies as compulsory and History, Odia, Pol Science, Economics & Philosophy as optional. Honours in History, Odia, Pol Science & Philosophy is granted permission for opening from the session 2016.
The College also has been granted permission for opening of +3 Science with Honours in Chemistry, Physics , Mathematics, Zoology & Botany from the Session 2016.
Well equipped Physics, Chemistry, Computer and Biology Laboratories.
Library: The college has a well equipped library with 7000 text books and 3000 reference books on a wide variety of subjects.
Computer Lab: The College has ICT centre which caters to the requirement of all the students who are interested to acquire computer knowledge. Students are encouraged to get open facility of computer education in the ICT Centr.
SAMS Centre: SAMS ( Student Academic Management System) of Higher Education Department of Govt. of Odisha, provides an open window for admission of students in +2 and +3 wings of the college in a transparent manner.
Hostel Facility
The College provides 100 seated hostel for the ST and SC Boys under the SC&ST Development Department of Govt. of Odisha.
