Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar, an apex body of the Sikhs, has always combined educational aims with its humanitarian and charitable enterprises. Though religious in spirit and objectives, SGPC, Sri Amritsar, performs multidimensional functions for the good of society and providing opportunities for education to the maximum number of youngsters is one of them. To fulfill this mission, SGPC has specially focused on opening schools and colleges in rural and semi-urban pockets of Punjab. Taking over the direct control of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College at Anandpur Sahib in 1977 was a step towards bringing education to those who had fewer means and less awareness. Since then the college may have seen many ups and downs, but it has never looked back.

Computer Labs: The college has six fully Air Conditioned Computer labs having latest Core 2 Duo, i3 and i5 systems and Cyberoa firewall. All the labs are duly networked as per category-6 specifications. The college holds licensed versions of all the required software. Well-equipped computer labs and Wifi campus ensure effective delivery of knowledge and information relevant to various courses.
Digital Language Lab: The college has established state-of-the-art Digital Language Lab in order to refine speaking, reading, writing and listening skills of the students in English Language. This software based digital lab, one of its kind in the area, is of great help to the students who want to improve the communication skills. This lab is used for the Certificate Course in Spoken English as well as for the teaching of M.A.classes. Various other departments of this college use this lab for imparting knowledge and improving communication skills.
Wifi Facility: The campus is fully wifi and ensures effective.

Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: The college has well-equipped two storeyed Girls’ Hostel to provide a safe and secure home away from home for girls coming from far off areas. The hostel has indoor and outdoor sports facilities, uninterrupted power supply, medical facility and 24 hours internet connectivity. The hostel premises are well-guarded and well-protected during and after college.

Placement Service Available: The placement cell has been established with an objective of helping students to plan their future career by maintaining liaison with prospective employers, preparing students for interviews and getting them placements.The cell plans to hold extension lectures and workshops by professional consultants and experts to make students aware of current trends and to prepare them as per market demand.The placement department sends placement invitation letters to the companies enclosing a brief summary of the Professional courses available at Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College .A Placement Proforma (PFA) is required to be filled in by the company. The completed proforma along with a brief company profile, job profile and details about campus recruitment drive is sent by the company to the Placement Office.
