The Vidya Pratishthan's School of Biotechnology is a premier Research Institute established in 2003 working in the field of Research in Biotechnology and life sciences.VSBT runs academic programmes of M.Sc. Biotechnology, B.Sc. Biotechnology affiliated to university of Pune and B.Sc. Agricultural Biotechnology affiliated to Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri.
A separate building has been constructed consisting of laboratories, Library, Conference Hall, Exhibition Hall, Administrative Block, Classrooms, Staff Common Rooms, and Assembly Hall. The total area of the building is 40000 sq.ft.State-of-the-art infrastructure with respective laboratories for Molecular Biology, Tissue Culture, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Cell Preservation, Basic Sciences and Bioinformatics.
