Birla College of Arts, Science and Commerce

Birla College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Kalyan is a multi-faculty institution of higher education with an enrollment of more than 8,500 students.The College was established by Kalyan Citizens’ Education Society with the blessings of Syt. B. K. Birla ji and Late Smt. Sarla ji Birla. The College was accredited by NAAC with a 5 Star status in 2002, Re-accredited and awarded ''A'' Grade with CGPA – 3.37 in 2008 and Reaccredited (Third Cycle) and awarded ''A'' Grade with CGPA – 3.58. The UGC has identified our college under the scheme "College with Potential for Excellence" (CPE)(2010). (The UGC has also sanctioned Centre for Foreign Languages, Centre for Epigraphy, Centre for Yoga - Philosophy and Practice under CPE scheme. The College has been awarded the "Best College Award" (in the Urban category) by the University of Mumbai (2009). Recently the College has been bestowed with ''College of Excellence'' status (2015-2020) by UGC
