Godda College, Godda was established on 15th August 1954 by the joint active efforts of the freedom fighters and educationists of this area. The foundation of its main building was laid down on 29th November 1957 by the then Chief Minister of Bihar Sri Srikrishna Singh while the college building was inaugurated on 23rd Oct 1959 by the then President of Indian National Congress Smt. Indira Gandhi.
A separate Computer laboratory with Wi-Fi connection.
The College has two play grounds with a campus area of 36 acres.
There is a separate Auditorium in the campus.
The institution are having IGNOU study centre.
There are rare collections of books in the library particularly in the subjects of Philosophy, Economics and Hindi.
