National Institute of Fashion Technology Hyderabad laid its plinth stone in the year 1995. The initial days began at Chenetha Bhavan, Nampally, Hyderabad with a strong team empowering the center.
Resource centre is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of DVD / CD-ROMs, online databases, micro films, slides, audio-video cassettes, designer garments, materials, accessories, books, journals & project reports etc. It is functioning with an objective of providing physical and intellectual access to the information resources consistent with the present and the anticipated needs of the faculty members and students, in order to promote educational excellence in the field of design, technology and management at NIFT.
NIFT-Shop: All stationary and consumable items of the academic requirements are made available on the campus NIFT-Shop. Photocopying, printing, binding and lamination etc documentation services are also available at the discounted annual rate contract.
Medical Doctor :
A qualified medical Doctor visits the campus everyday - Afternoon for consultation. Free of charge medical facility – including immediately required medicines are provided. The Doctor is available on call-basis in case of emergency. The Doctor can be consulted at her/his clinic without any fees to be paid by the students.
Medi-claim Insurance : All students are insured for the hospitalization – Medi-claim. Each student is insured for up to Rs. 50, 000/- annual limits of hospitalization expenses. Major hospitals in Hyderabad and at major cities across India provide cash-less hospitalization to our students, in case of requirements.
Counselor Service : A qualified clinical psychologist visits the campus three days in a week for counseling. A student can consult her, (without any fees to be paid), for counseling and other issues related to settling down, interpersonal relations, etc. She conducts regular workshops on the campus on inter-personal relationships, group dynamics, stress management, etc
Hostel Facility
