The Department of Agriculture, Government of Bihar established a Seed Multiplication Farm of 84 ha in 1958 at Purnea and since then the farm was producing quality seed of important crops to cater the need of farmers of the area. Later on, it was realized that research and education are needed for the development of agriculture in this Koshi Region of Bihar. The Govt. of Bihar decided to establish an Agricultural College at this farm in 2011.
Library: The college has a library with agriculture related textbooks and practical books for undergraduate level. News paper such as Times of India, Danik Jagaran, Prabhat Khabar, Hindustan; magazine.
Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: Separate hostel is available for Boys and Girls in all College Campus.Hostels are fully residential with all facilities.
