The School of Nursing is located in the main campus at GITAM, Visakhapatnam. It has been established to provide quality education in nursing to meet the ever growing need for qualified nurses in the country. The B.Sc. Nursing program is being offered by GSN with permission from the Indian Nursing Council, UGC & MHRD, Govt. of India from the academic year 2016-17. The GITAM School of Nursing is a vibrant and innovative establishment that is committed to offering a Graduate Nursing programme(s) of superior academic excellence by fostering an environment for continuous growth and learning.
The institute is endowed with various state-of-the-art nursing laboratories such as Nutrition, Fundamentals of Nursing, Maternal and Child Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Computer lab and preclinical science laboratory. The school is also provided with digital library, e-class rooms and wi-fi facility.
