St. Thomas College of Nursing

St.Thomas College of Nursing is a unit of “the educational institutions of Archdiocese Changanessery‿ It is open, like all other Educational Institutions under Catholic auspices, to all persons irrespective of religion, caste or community and is affiliated to Kerala University of Health and Allied Sciences (KUHAS).

We have well equipped labs for dietetics and nutrition, foundations of nursing, community Health nursing, child health nursing. The Multipurpose Auditorium is available in the basement to conduct conferences, Seminar, Symposia, Workshop, and gatherings. The hall equipped with latest Audio Visual Aids. 22 computers with internet facility is installed in IT Lab of college of nursing. It functions from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm. All staff and students have free high speed internet access. Stocked and spacious library is situated on second floor of the College It functions on all days including Sundays from 8 am to 7 pm. Reference and issue units are separate.
 
 Hostel Facility
Hostel is a “Home away from Home”. Alphonsa Hostel was blessed by His Grace Mar Joseph Powathil on 4th August 2005. There are good facilities for washing, drying, ironing clothes. Facilities for outdoor Games are provide in the college campus. A hygienic kitchen and dining hall to accommodate all the students. The 2 wardens take care of the hostelites with much care and affection. Each student is provided with a coat, reading table, chair, cupboard and space for keeping belongings.
