Sri Ramachandra College of Physiotherapy was established in August 1993. It was affiliated with Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R University. It is Constituent College of Sri Ramachandra University (Established under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956).
Physiotherapy is a health care profession which adopts various physical approaches/methods in the prevention, treatment and education of individuals with or without health problems pertaining to dysfunction of musculoskeletal systems including cardio pulmonary aspects. It is one of the link in the Rehabilitation process of the Individuals with movement dysfunction due to diseases, ageing process, congenital problems etc.
