UPDATE PHOTOS of Jamia Hamdard : School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research

Hamdard College of Pharmacy with diploma course was established in 1972 which was affiliated to Delhi Board of Technical Education. In 1973, B. Pharm. course was started under Delhi University. In 1982, M. Pharm. in Pharmacognosy was started. From 1986 M. Pharm. programme in all the four disciplines and simultaneously Ph.D. programme in all the disciplines was started. From 1997 self financing B. Pharm. course was started with 60 seats. In collaboration with Ranbaxy Research Laboratories, Department of Pharmaceutical Medicine was started in 1999 for Ph.D. programme in this discipline. It is a unique programme of its own kind in our country. The total students capacity of School is approximately 766 (166 in M. Pharm. and 600 in U.G.) excluding Ph. D. scholars. These courses are approved by AICTE and PCI.

	Eligibility Passed B. Pharm./ B.Pharm (Unani) examination from Jamia Hamdard or any other examination recognized by Jamia Hamdard as equivalent thereto, securing at least 55% marks in the aggregate of theory papers of B. Pharm/B.Pharm (Unani) or any other equivalent examination.
	Duration 2 years
	Admission Procedure The applicants for admission to the M.Pharm programme shall have to appear in the written entrance test . The test paper will comprise of questions based on B.Pharm. syllabus of Jamia Hamdard .The selection will be made on the basis of the merit prepared by apportioning the following weightage ; (a) Weightage of percentile scored at GATE - 70%(b) Weightage for qualifying examination based on aggregate marks of theory papers of B.Pharm. /B.Pharm(Unani) - 30%
