D.A.V. Institute of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation has been running the course of Physiotherapy since 1994. It is the pioneer Physiotherapy teaching and training Institute of North India outside Delhi. The Institute is affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot and is managed by D.A.V. College Managing Committee, Delhi. The Institute offers comprehensive and quality Rehabilitation care. The uniqueness of the Institute is the integrated and synchronized work of Departments of Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Neurology Rehabilitation, Sports Rehabilitation, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Occupational Therapy and Artificial Limbs Centre. All the Rehabilitation Units provide exemplary health care for physically challenged community and are a model for inter-displinary approach in rehabilitation. They are also providing the students with invaluable training in fields of Pediatric Rehabilitation and the art of splinting and bracing. Nine batches of physiotherapy have graduated till now from the Institute and tenth batch is in the final leg of internship.

The college offers homely comfort hostel accommodation with all ultra modern amenities, lush green lawns and a peaceful atmosphere conducive for studies. DAVIPTR has hostel facility for both boys and girls. 24 hour security and generator backup for uninterrupted power supply are provided so that continuum of education persists even after college hour
