The idea of establishing the Dental College and Hospital has been conceived with the notion of producing clinicians, teachers and researchers in the field of dentistry. The College constitutes an independent building with a floor area of 1,20,000 sq. ft. including a clinical hospital area distributed in such a manner so as to minimize the patient movement. The ultramodern equipment procured provides a new state-of-the-art technology and gives ample opportunity to aspiring candidates having a quest for perfection. The location of this institution provides an ambient environment & a large patient inflow from the surrounding numerous villages and towns which is vital for a student during the course of studies.
Library:The SDC&H Library is taking shape and has built up a modest collection during the past 6 years. The collection is primarily related to Dentistry. Library offers services such as Circulation, Reference, Library Information Service, Reading Hall, E-Library, Internet Facility etc. The library has been using the Librarian Ver. 6.0 an Integrated Library Management software package with all the modules for the library housekeeping operations.
Hostel Facility
There are separate residential blocks on the campus, providing accommodation to Heads of Institutions, faculty and other supporting staff members. This has been a strategic decision, which has cut the commuting time of the faculty and helped them focus better on teaching and guiding the students.
