The Oxford College of Science

The Oxford College of Science was started in the year 1994 with twelve students and five teachers. Within seventeen years the, college has registered a phenomenal growth. Presently College is catering education to more than 3000 students. The institution owes this astounding progress to our dedicated Management and a committed teaching staff. Within an intensely competitive environment, the college has adopted a dynamic, global, high quality: creative and communicative approach in education, as well as research and development. Keeping abreast with modern developments, the institution is constantly reinventing itself and renovating its physical infrastructure as well as its research and education facilities. The Oxford College of Science proudly stands on a sprawling new campus with a 6-stroyed building of 2.85 lakh sq.ft area in HSR Layout, Sector IV. The College is affiliated to Bangalore University.

The Oxford College has world-class classrooms with interactive boards and scientific laboratories designed with imported interiors and furnishings from well -known designers and fabricators. The Oxford College has a well equipped centralized computer centre to cater to the students and the faculty. The Wi-Fi facility connects the academic, administrative, and hostel blocks of the campus, with internet facilities on all the nodes.

Separate residential areas for boys and girls have adequate facilities to make the students’ stay a comfortable one. Other facilities like hygienic and nutritious food, a sports centre and reading rooms ensure the overall well-being of the hostelites.

The Oxford College of Science has an independent placement office focused to cater to the needs of leading organizations in conducting campus interviews for the final year students of M.Sc MCA, and other UG courses. It is headed by a senior professor (Dean HR and Placement) with additional charge and supported by a fulltime, permanent placement officer. The office is assisted by student representatives from various branches of study. The placement office ensures and takes care to provide the best arrangements and hospitality to the HR team from various companies
