Placement Records
 

The foundation of The Bombay Veterinary College, Mumbai, in 1886 marked the establishment of the veterinary profession in this country. The Bombay Veterinary College was inaugurated by Prof. J. H. Steel, B.Sc. F.R.C.V.S., a person with experience and dynamism as its first principal. Principal J. H. Steel can be considered as the father of modern Veterinary education in India. He also can be called the father of modern Veterinary Journalism.

Admission Procedure
Candidate has to appear for MH-CET Entrance Examination conducted by Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Mumbai and must obtained 50% marks in the examination. The candidate has to appear for All India Common Entrance Examination conducted by Veterinary Council of India, New Delhi each year. The candidates domiciled in State of Maharashtra who desires to take admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree Course has to appear for MHT-CET Entrance Examination conducted Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Mumbai and must obtain 50% marks (Open Category) and 40% marks (Reserved Category) in the said examination. The candidates domiciled in State other than Maharashtra and who desires to take admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree Course has to appear for MHT-CET Entrance Examination conducted by Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Mumbai and must obtain 50% marks in the said examination.
