he General Council of Kerala Agricultural University in its meeting on 26th March 1994 endorsed the decision of the Government for starting a full-fledged College of Agriculture at Nileshwar -Pilicode in Kasaragod District. Government accorded administrative sanction to start the college at RARS, Pilicode, as per order No. GA/J1/13662/94 dated 2.06.1994. Accordingly, the college started functioning at RARS Pilicode campus in 1994. The first batch of students was admitted to the B.Sc.Hon.(Ag.) course during the year. Later, the campus was shifted to the newly constructed academic and administrative block situated at Padannakkad in 1998. The performance of the college was eventful during the course of these years.
College library with e-connectivity and a collection of 9000 books, Basketball court, Volleyball court and Football court and Gymnasium, 24 hour Internet facilities for staff and students, Video conferencing, E-resource development Centre, student Web centre, digital class room, residential quarters for faculty members and other staff. A beautiful pond (Theerthamkara pond) with an area of 4.2 ha is also a peculiarity of the campus. A State Bank ATM counter is functioning in the main entrance of the College.
