School of Agriculture has experienced faculty in the field of Agricultural and Allied sciences. The field of expertise of the faculty is in the Genetic Plant Breeding Soil science, Agronomy Horticulture, Plant Protection etc. The school is trying at her level best to develop the skill oriented sets of teaching, research and extension as per specific need of the students and farming community of the M.P. Since the School of Agriculture is initiated to act at very early stage the development of teaching, research and extension is at embryonic stage.
Instructional Farm, Laboratory, facilities for Library, Sport and Recreation for all-round personality development of the students.
There are tremendous career opportunities in Agricultural survices at national level through Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board (ASRB). Provincial Agricultural Services (PAS) through State Public Service Commission as District Agriculture Officer (DAO), Soil Conservation Officer (SCO) District Horticulture Officer (DHO), Plant Protection Officer 101 (PPO), Extension Officer and other subordinate services. Besides, there is an ample scope in this field of griculture especially – Fertilizer, Agro-chemical, Biopesticide, Post Harvest Technology, Rural industries and Research & Development and Banking Sectors.
