Government Madhav Science P.G.College (Madhav Vigyan Mahavidyalaya)

Government Madhav Science College or as called ''Madhav Vigyan Mahavidyalaya'', was set up in 1951 in Ujjain, a highly venerated pilgrimage centre enshrining Mahakaleshwar and a place notably rich in cultural heritage, tradition and civilization in Madhya Pradesh. The college was established in 1892 within the Madhav Arts & Commerce college, dewas gate, Ujjain, affiliated to Agra University.

The college has an impressive campus which covers an area of 5.6 hector (total built up area of about 40,000sq.mts.) with impressive buildings which accommodate an office of the Principal, Staff room, the college office besides class rooms, science laboratories, computer laboratories, multi-purpose hall which can accommodate about one hundred fifty persons, library, spacious ground, and a common room for the girls.
There is central library in the college having more than 35,000 books etc. Every PG, Self finance Departments and Career Counselling Cell have separate departmental library. College also has Reference books on fiction, novels, encyclopaedias, dictionaries, CSIR publications. College has e-library also.
