Chhaju Ram Memorial Jat College was established in 1967. However, the seed of this institute had already been sown way back in 1926 in pre-independence era, when monumental building of Jat High School was got built by him in memory of his son, Adit Kumar. Seth Chhaju Ram Ji (1865-1943) hailed from village Alakhpura in district Bhiwani. He was concerned about the illiteracy among ruralites. Consequently, he thought of disseminating education among the countryside people by establishing this school at an estimated cost of Rs. 4 Lakh, a huge amount in those days. The school started imparting education upto matriculation right from early thirties.

Library: The college library is situated in the heart of the college campus. Consisting of three beautifully built halls, it provides comfortable sitting to over 250 students. Its stock of over 55680 books and complemented by regular subscription to some 70 national and international journals provides adequate and sufficient reading material to the students. The library provides internet facility to the students. It offers computerized circulation service, reference service and book bank facility.
Canteen Facility: The college provides a healthy environment in the canteen and makes sure that quality food is served at reasonable prices & helps the students refresh themselves with snacks during the short break.
Auditorium: The College has a big conference hall which consists of a long conference table with seating arrangement for above 60 students. This hall often plays host to guest lectures by eminent media persons. Mock Press Conferences by the students are also held here, frequent documentary and film screening is also carried out.
Lab Facility: Separate fully equipped and spacious Practical Science Labs for Physics, Chemistry, Computer Sci. Instrumentation, Electronics, Bio-Technology, Botany, Zoology, Language, Geography & Defence Studies are provided to the students and staff to develop their manipulative skills, as we believe in the cardinal principle of `Learning by doing.

Hostel Facility
Hostel Facilities Available: The college provides hostel facility for the staff and the students. A 92-room hostel for the students has an excellent mess and spacious playgrounds. At present there are about 275 seats in the hostel.

Placement Service Available: Placement cell of the college is dynamic body functioning to provide whole development to the students.This facilitattes in choosing out a right career path and equipping them for an effective job search.The Principal and all faculty members extend their whole hearted support to the functioning of the unit. The placement cell operates year around to facilitate contacts between the companies and the students. Students are adequaltey trained in preparing resume, handling group discussions and attending personal interviews.The students are being guided and provided relevant information onb admissions, fellowships, competitive exams, financial assistance available for higher studies.
