Marwadi Education Foundation's Group of Institutions - Faculty of Computer Application

The Faculty of Computer Applications was propounded by the Marwadi Education Foundation as an independent institution of the integrated campus ushered under the umbrella name of Marwadi Education Foundation's Group of Institutions at Gauridad, Rajkot. The sole aim of the MEFGI is to proliferate education of world class in Gujarat State in general and Saurashtra region in particular.

MEFGI provides all the important facilities needed for the quality IT education namely excellent faculty resources, state-of the art infrastructure, pleasant learning atmosphere and regular interaction with corporate houses.
Laboratories/Computer Centre MEFGI has the most advanced computer labs for imparting practical training to students. An excellent computer centre comprising of 60 latest Dual Core computers connected over LAN has been set up which are equipped with Licensed version of PCQ Linux 2004, Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows Server 2003 R2 and various application software like Turbo C, Oracle 9i etc. Students are able to gain hands-on practice using modern tools and technologies. We have all the labs equipped with high end facility computers connected with lease line and AC facility in each. We even have a separate internet lab with 24 * 7 net facilities. Campus provides Wi-Fi facility for students and faculty members. Library The Institute has an excellent central library-E-Resource centre with approximate 2000 latest books on various academic and applied aspects of the study of computer applications which include foreign and Indian journals and periodicals covering all functional areas of the course. Apart from borrowing books one has access to the reference section which houses several books, journals with their previous volumes. MEFGI has RFID based Library Automation System.
